Donate in Recognition of World Stroke Day

Stroke can happen to anyone, at any age, at any time. It is the leading cause of disability in the U.S. and creates unimaginable hardships for the survivor and their family. The positive news is that up to eighty percent of strokes can be prevented by managing medical risk factors like blood pressure and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

In recognition of World Stroke Day, Austin Speech Labs will hold its annual World Stroke Day Health Fair at Austin Speech Labs and the Exchange Park Courtyard on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 from 4 to 6 pm. This event’s purpose is to raise stroke awareness in the Austin community and raise funds to support Austin Speech Labs’ mission to provide affordable therapy to stroke survivors. The event will offer free health screenings and showcase health and wellness businesses and resources in the Austin area.
